The Salt Lake Tribune is having a poll for the Utahn of the year. Rick Koerber has asked all of his followers to vote for him as Utahn of the year. Rick Koerber Faces 19 New Counts

The Fed's are now charging Rick Koerber with 19 new counts for a total of 22. I wonder if Gabriel Joseph is starting to get worried the he will be next.

The counts are as follows:

One count of mail fraud
One count of sale of unregistered securities
Two counts of tax evasion
Two counts of money laundering
Six counts of fraud in the offer and sale of securities
Ten counts of wire fraud

Rick Koerber & Michelle Koerber Getting A Divorce

That is right Rick & Michelle Koerber are calling it quits. Rick Koerber's personal site announces their divorce. Apparently their divorce is waiting on a signature from the judge to be finalized. Tom Harvey with the Salt Lake Tribune breaks the story.

Rick Koerber Federal Court Status Hearing 10/23/09

Rick Koerber had a status hearing today in Federal Court. He quit mooching off the Federal Government as court appointed attorney Jerry Mooney has removed himself. Now Rick has hired his own attorney Marcus Mumford to represent him (there goes the rest of our money). The court is giving him an additional 90 days to get familiar with the case. I hope this doesn't get stalled out for years as we deserve restitution. Prosecutors said there will likely be more charges filed against Koerber in the future.

Mark Shurleff Cancels Speech At Neighborhood Meeting With Freecapitalist Project

The Attorney General Mark Shurleff was schedule to speak at a neighborhood meeting on July 23rd sponsored by the Freecapitalist Project. The AG backed out Friday after he found out the event was sponsored by the Freecapitalist project. The AG's campaign manger was under the impression that this was a neighborhood meeting with no affiliation to the Freecapitalist Project. Does anyone know what costs are involved to be a member of the FreeCapitalist Project? I assume you get to go to a couple of the meetings at no cost. Does anyone know how much money the membership cost? Are there monthly dues? The FreeCapitalist Project website claims that there are members in all fifty states. Rick On The Discussion Boards

I spent a little bit of time today reading the posts that Rick Koerber has written on the message boards (KSL, Deseret News). His posts are semi amusing and standout like a soar thumb. They usually start with I have never met Rick Koerber personally or have ever had dealings with him. Then they just ramble on with how he is innocent, these are circumstances of a down economy, it’s not a crime to loose money, Koerber is a victim and on and on. There is one thing that is for sure if Rick has been mentioned in a discussion board he will be there to defend himself (using a fictitious name of course). I guess its okay since Rick and his wife are the only two defending him. I do have to agree with him that it’s not a crime to loose investor’s money if it’s legitimate. I guess what I don’t understand is how do you loose the whole 100 million in real estate? I certainly could see loosing 30% but I can’t see how it’s even possible to loose it all. Can anyone explain to me how Rick is the victim? I don’t understand. Isn’t he supposed to be finding a job and not Googling himself?

More Assets Than Liabilities

I think it's funny that Rick Koerber claims that he had more assets than liabilities. He doesn't believe in appraisals. How did they come up with the values for their properties? I don't know but one would tend to believe they were fabricated. That's how they had more assets than liabilities.

Rick Koerber Only Owes 30 Million

Rick claimed back in January that he had paid back 70 million of the 100 million that he owed investors. I'm just curious if anybody is whole or just owed under 30% of their money? I have a hard time believing that he made those payments. If that is the case where do i pick up my check? I also found it interesting that he threatened to sue the Utah Division Of Securities for 30 Million. Does that mean if he won the suit he would make all of his investors whole? Fat chance, this is for sure a Ponzi.

On the right hand column under the heading Gabe On The Web you will see a couple of Gabe's businesses. Check out Global Wealth Revealed I wonder how this is working out for Gabe. The My Legacy Journal appears to be co-owned by Stephen Freestone. The Engraven Image is a stamped concrete business in Las Vegas that Brandon Adams is running for Gabe. I will keep you posted as I find more.

The one thing I really don't understand is how Rick claims that he had nothing to $200,000,000 back to nothing. I guess most of the problem stems from they don't know what an asset and liability are. If have $1,000 and I owe an investor $1,001 how much money do I have?

Doesn't this sum up Rick Koerber he claims he has no money he rents the most expensive hotel's conference room to claim he is innocent and that he is going to counter sue. I'm sure everyone at the Department of Securities is running scared. Do you really need to keep on spending investor's money?

I'm sure by now everyone has heard that Rick Koerber has been indicted on three counts. Rick is charged with mail fraud, wire fraud and tax evasion. The indictment says that Franklin Squires and Founders Capital never made a profit. The indictment also claims that of the 200 million Rick collected 50 million was paid in ponzi payments. I think it would be safe to say that Gabe Joseph will be indicted very shortly. Unless he decided to cut a deal with the feds to save his own neck and testify against Rick Koerber. If you haven't read about this yet there is a great article at the Salt Lake Tribune. KUTV channel 2 news does a good job covering the story as well. I find it funny that up until last week Mark Shurtleff was Facebook friends with most of the Franklin Squires group. It seems very interesting that right before Rick is indicted they are no longer Facebook friends. As far as I see it Mark should be indicted for safe harboring Rick from prosecution. Thanks Mark for letting them have two more years to spend my money. Look at Mark's mission statement as Attorney General of the State of Utah. Do you think he has upheld his office? I don't think that he will be able to help them out of this jam. This is just one more reason I will be voting for Bob Bennett for senate.

I'm trying to find out more of the details about Gabe's monster house that he is building. Does anyone know the details on his house? UPDATE He has lost this house to the bank.

Has anyone heard if Rick is still honoring his commitment to pay back all of his investors this month? If we don't receive our money this month I will sue Annuit Coeptis and Gabe. I will post more details around Thanksgiving as others have expressed interest in combining efforts. I have also been approached by the media as they would like to expose Rick and the inner circle. If you have any new news or know of any new ventures that Rick and crew are involved in. Please let me know.

Has anyone heard from Gabe?

I'm sure that most of you have heard of the Rich Dad series. I just came across the latest product that Robert T. Kiyosaki released and is the best out of the series. I picked up my copy of Rich Dad's 3-step Guide to Wealth for only $65.00 off of Ebay. This is much cheaper than going to a seminar that Rick puts on.

I would like to respond to one of Rick's post the one entitled did you invest with Rick Koerber? I may not have given my money directly to Rick but it certainly trickled down to him. Let's say Rick borrows Gabes Ferrari. He ends up hitting someone out on his ride and decides to Flee the sceen of the accident. Let's now say the police track him down and he claims that he didn't hit the person because it's not his vehicle. Gabe's vehicle hit the person not me as I'm innocent. Same principle I invested my money with Gabe he in turn gives my money to Rick.

I have had a few people email me to see if I have heard from Gabe. I haven't he must still be hiding in Cedar Hills.

There is a new complaint filed against Gabe, Rick, Brandon & Annuit Copetis. The plaintiffs are a couple out of Colorado that gave Gabe all of their retirement money. This makes me sick thinking about this couple working their whole life to lose it all to Gabe & Rick. If you haven't seen or heard about this lawsuit please take the time to read through the filing.

If you know what Gabe's new business venture is please let me know. I'm not sure why he thinks that it's okay for him to use investor money to build a new business. If you have enough money to start a new business pay your investors back.

I have been bombarded with emails and comments but I'm trying to get back to everyone as quickly as possible.

I have heard that the Utah State Division of Securities has halted their investigation. My understanding is that Mark Shurtleff has asked for a committee to probe the department. I have also heard that they are claiming that there is corruption in the department. I have also heard that Rick is an acquaintance of Mark Shurtleff. This is a real blow to all of us that has invested money into "downlines". This will give them more time to hide and spend our money.

Annuit Coeptis LLC (Gabriel Joseph) Real Estate Ponzi Scheme or Legitimate Business?

I’m hoping that if I post my story about investing with Gabe Joseph and Annuit Coeptis, LLC that others will come forward as well. If you are looking for information about Annuit Coeptis the all seeing eye on the back of the one dollar bill, you have came to the wrong place, this is about a company that has defrauded my family and many others out of money.

The first time I met Gabe was in his office at Franklin Squires, he seemed nice but you could tell he was a salesman. He told us about Rick Koerber and how he was such an “honorable” man. He told the story of how Rick’s company National Business Solutions went under at the end of the .com era and how Rick paid back all of his creditors in full with interest. He told us how the money was invested in Founders Capital and very briefly told us about the “Equity Mill" TM. What Gabe never went over is the questions that you have to ask to satisfy the SEC.

The first time we caught “The Invisible Hand” of capitalism and his assistant Brandon Adams in a lie was back in June, Gabe was very late on his July 2007 interest payment and he claimed that he was on a fishing trip and Brandon also claimed he was on a fishing trip. The funny thing is they both thought that the other was taking care of the payments. I guess Gabe forgot that he had to approve the payments. The next month’s interest payment for August 2007 was on time. Starting with September the money stopped and the lies came out in full force.

We thought that Gabe or Brandon would tell us that we were not going to get that month’s interest payment. Instead we got the run around from both Gabe and Brandon. We did find out that others were lucky enough to get their interest payment that month (I wonder how he chose). The story we heard was that he didn’t have any money, Founders Capital wasn’t distributing. Gabe claimed that if Founders wrote a check to him and he cashed it, he would go to jail. He said because the state was investigating Founders Capital. The second lie we were told is that Founders couldn’t payout because their assets were frozen by the state. The third lie that we heard was if they paid money out it would be “discrimination” (whatever that means). That is contrary to what the State of Utah claims; that they want Rick, Gabe and all of the gang to pay their investors back. The State said that all of their stall tactics and excuses they are giving us are absolutely false. If you want any chance of getting some of your money back, contact the State of Utah Division of Securities. (Contact info is at the bottom of the page). They also claim that they are cooperating with the state, giving financials etc. This is also false. The latest excuse that Gabe is now claiming is that he doesn’t know why Rick is not distributing from Founders Capital. Gabe said that 80% of his money is coming from Founders but 20% is coming from other interests that are doing well. I wonder if he is living off of the 20% because I know investors aren’t seeing it.

We are so very glad that we didn’t get involved with their FranklinSquires University or the Free Capitalist Project. I know a few people that have and it’s like adding insult to injury. Since they use their church affiliation and verbiage to teach their principles it would be interesting what the first presidency would think of their business practices.

Since the fall of Annuit Coeptis I have read many things about Gabe, Rick and FranklinSquires. The only principle that they know or truly believe in is selfishness. It makes me sick to think they have swindled millions of dollars out of investors. Yet they drive around in Ferrari’s and live in their 3 to 5 Million Dollar houses and cabins. I keep thinking that I will see a big billboard with a huge house and a picture of Rick saying this is the house that fraud built. I just can’t understand why they think that they have done nothing wrong. While some investors are losing their houses and others will be paying for their “material possessions” for years to come. I’m not sure how they can feel good about themselves knowing that they have lied, cheated and stole from others. I think they were trying to tell us something with their slogans “Some things are true whether you believe it or not”, “Turn your brain on”.

If you have received a questionnaire from the State of Utah Division of Securities please fill it out in the entirety. They already have copies of your promissory note so they already know the terms of the agreement. The purpose of the questionnaire is to find out if fraud was committed on the part of the issuer and to help get investors monies returned.

Please post your stories and comments so that others may learn more information about the whole upline and downline mess. This blog isn’t just about Annuit Coeptis it is for anyone that has any dealings with FranklinSquires or subsidiary thereof.
